Stronger colours, the more distinct brand name and clearer contrast are the most striking improvements of the new, sweeping design in which Sempermed surgical gloves will be delivered as of beginning 2012. Two top-quality products are going to make a start: Sempermed Supreme made of natural latex and Sempermed Syntegra IR made of synthetic polyisoprene.

Sempermed Supreme, one of the most-worn, powder free surgical gloves in Europe, offers a maximum of safety and wearing comfort. It is easy to don, even when two gloves are worn on top of each other or gloves are changed during surgery. This is a result of a skin friendly, synthetic inner lining with special web-like structure, which also creates a comfortable, gentle feeling on the skin. The latex material, which is processed to minimize allergenic and irritating substances, is particularly skin friendly, extremely hard-wearing and at the same time very smooth. The reduced wall thickness of the Sempermed Supreme provides optimum tactile sensitivity even for double gloving. The perfect, fully anatomical shape with slightly curved fingers, a forward facing thumb, wide back of the hand and a conical cuff fitted to the wrist enable a relaxed hand posture and avoid hand fatigue.

The high-quality latex and powder free Sempermed Syntegra IR made in Austria offers maximum safety together with highest comfort. It has all the advantages of a natural latex glove, but without the risk of causing latex allergies. This is achieved by the special polyisoprene formula which imitates the structural properties of natural latex on the highest level of perfection so that the Sempermed Syntegra IR offers the same level of elasticity, tear resistance and suppleness. Tactile sensitivity and grip are also at least equal to those of a natural latex glove. Moreover an innovative accelerator system is used for the Sempermed Syntegra IR which makes it particularly skin friendly. This surgical glove also has a fully anatomical shape to fit the natural hand posture and is equipped with the synthetic inner lining achieved by the special Sempermed technology, which allows easy and fast donning in any situation.

The bright white, feather-light Sempercare Nitrile Shine excels by its high wearing comfort, optimum skin friendliness and excellent sensitivity. The optically pleasant white colour conveys a clean and neat feeling. The latex and powder free synthetic examination glove is perfectly suitable for users with type I allergies. Due to its reduced wall thickness the Sempercare Nitrile Shine facilitates optimum tactile sensitivity and comfort in sensible procedures and feels extraordinarily soft and gentle to users and patients. The structured fingertips allow a sure grip at all times, even in a moist environment.

The new Sempercare Nitrile Shine meets the requirements on personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as those on medical devices and is therefore dual labelled or CE certified (Medical Device Class I and Protective Glove PPE Category I).
