Sempermed at Arab Health 2014

Vienna, Austria/Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 2014 – Sempermed, one of the world’s leading producers of medical gloves, is exhibiting at this year’s Arab Health, Middle East's leading healthcare exhibition, from 27th to 30th January 2014 at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre (Za´abeel Hall, Z2G59). The extended range of existing products along with the award-winning surgical glove Sempermed® Syntegra UV will be presented to the Sempermed customers in the Middle East region.

Thanks to the Sempermed® Syntegra UV, Sempermed became the first manufacturer worldwide to develop a surgical glove using the material polyisoprene, which is similar to natural latex, and that is interlinked by UV light instead of chemical accelerators that trigger allergies. The unique feature of Sempermed® Syntegra UV is that it is completely free of latex and accelerators yet offers the high wearing comfort of a latex glove. In this way Sempermed® Syntegra UV is intended for workers with a type-I-latex allergy as well as allergies triggered by accelerators used in the production process (type-IV-allergy). The glove material feels the same as natural latex with respect to tactile sensitivity and suppleness.

Another advanced surgical glove is the Sempermed® Supreme Green. This optimised under glove is intended for double gloving during surgical procedures for users who prefer good tactile properties and high comfort combined with maximum safety.
