Richard Ehrenfeldner steps down from the Management Board of Semperit AG Holding
Vienna, Austria, 14 April 2017 — The Supervisory Board of Semperit AG Holding and the longstanding Chief Technical Officer of the company, Richard Ehrenfeldner, have reached a mutual agreement on terminating Ehrenfeldner’s board activity as of 15 April 2017.
As previously reported, Michele Melchiorre has gradually assumed the tasks as CTO of Semperit AG Holding from Richard Ehrenfeldner since 1 June 2016. The transfer process has been completed now after the closing of the agreement with Sri Trang.
Ehrenfelder joined Semperit in 1989 and has been a member of the Management Board of Semperit AG Holding since October 2001. After many years as CTO, Ehrenfeldner was responsible for the Medical Sector from June 2016 to December 2016 and most recently played a significant role in terminating almost all joint venture activities with the Sri Trang Group. At this point, Veit Sorger, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, would like to thank Richard Ehrenfeldner for the long-standing cooperation.
As of 1 June 2017, the members of the Management Board of Semperit AG Holding will therefore be Martin Füllenbach (CEO), Frank Gumbinger (CFO) and Michele Melchiorre (CTO).
