New senior appointments at Sempermed

  • Andreas Wöss
    has taken over sales management at Sempermed Medical

    has strengthened the Sempermed team as segment controller

Vienna, Austria, 28 November 2011 - The Semperit Group has assigned a number of leading positions within its business segment Sempermed, one of the global market leaders in the production of surgical, examination and protective gloves for medical and industrial purposes.

Andreas Wöss has taken over sales management at Sempermed Medical. The 37-year-old studied at Vienna University of Business and Economics and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After several years as a consultant with McKinsey, Wöss has worked for Prochema in Vienna, as well as for Evonik Degussa in Switzerland.

Ronald Trieb is the new sales manager of Sempermed Industrial. Trieb (40) is responsible for the sales of industrial gloves in all international markets outside of the USA and Asia. After graduating from the Vienna University of Business and Economics and the Higher College of Technology for the lumber industry in Kuchl, Salzburg, he worked as regional manager for Swarco in Hong Kong. Furthermore Trieb has gained other business experience at 3M and the Vienna Insurance Group.

Markus Trost (33) has strengthened the sales team of Sempermed as segment controller. At Sempermed Trost is responsible for the international controlling. Sempermed maintains production sites in Austria, Hungary, Thailand and China. Trost studied business administration and law in Vienna. Until recently he has been a portfolio manager at B&C Industrial Holding in Vienna. Previously, this Viennese native was a project leader with McKinsey.
