Group-wide web relaunch for Semperit is online
cellent AG and CMS TYPO3 guarantee success
Vienna, Austria, 7 December 2011 - www.semperit.at – the completely redesigned website of Semperit AG Holding – is now online. The implementation of this Group-wide relaunch with the open source content management system TYPO3 was the responsibility of IT consultant and service provider cellent AG. In addition to Semperit Holding, the websites of the four segments “Sempermed”, “Semperflex”, “Sempertrans” and “Semperform” are also managed in a joint TYPO3 instance. The relaunch is focused on high user-friendliness, fast access to product information and a uniform, modern design.
Product information – illustrative and easy to find
“Our new website combines modern design and an extensive volume of information for our customers and investors,” explains Ms. Martina Büchele, Group Head Communications at Semperit AG Holding, with satisfaction. “All our product information is now directly available from the homepage itself, attractively illustrated with photos and a rotating banner. Our high-performance product search with auto-completion in the segment Sempermed ensures that the required information can be found quickly.”
Moreover, the section “Investor Relations” has been completely redesigned and extended. As an additional service, an RSS newsfeed enables visitors who are interested in Semperit to obtain the latest information on the Group.
The multi-lingual website also features numerous technical improvements: “All five websites can be managed in a single TYPO3 instance. This means they can be maintained and upgraded more easily,” remarks Christina Schatz, project manager at cellent. Owing to the integration of Google Analytics, access data for individual pages and product information can be evaluated. Via the integrated extranet it is possible to provide partners with individual documents and information.
Long-standing partnership
cellent AG has managed Semperit’s Group-wide website for eight years and handles the concept and design, development, technical implementation, support and training. As the new site has now gone live, this marks the successful end to the second web relaunch project.
