Gerfried Eder

Gerfried Eder was appointed Chief Industrial Officer (CIO) of Semperit AG Holding as of July 1, 2023. In this function, he is responsible for the Industrial Applications Division, which includes production, marketing and sales of hydraulic and industrial hoses as well as of profiles.

Gerfried Eder studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics.

In 2000, he started working at Semperit in various management positions. Prior to his appointment as CIO of Semperit, Gerfried Eder was Managing Director responsible for the largest production segment, hydraulic and industrial hoses, with plants in the Czech Republic, Thailand, China, Austria, the USA, India and Singapore. Following the successful realignment of the entire business unit, he and his team have managed to strengthen the hoses division and significantly improve its performance in terms of sales and profitability.

Gerfried Eder was born in Austria in 1972. He is married and the father of two children.
