Just under EUR 50 million impairment loss at Sempermed – annual result negative

Vienna, Austria, 17 December 2019 — The Executive Board of the Semperit AG Holding today quantified the impairment loss in the Medical Sector (Sempermed segment) at just under EUR 50 million. The earnings after taxes for Q1-3 2019 are expected to be around EUR –35 million; the annual result will be negative as well.

As announced in the ad-hoc release on 13 November 2019, the publication of the interim Group report as of 30 September was postponed. The publication date was now set for 19 December 2019.
